MTVph is finally back on TV!

September 20, 2017

Growing up in the ’90s and ’00s, I was definitely once an MTV kid! I remember binged-watching MTV shows like Spongebob Square Pants, Laguna Beach, Cribs, Pimp My Ride and MTV Asia shows MTV sessions & MTV VJ Hunt. I also love seeing my favorite VJs on TV like KC Montero, Sarah Meier, Donita Rose and more.  I was thrilled that I got an invite to #MTVPh’s Media Night held at Vu’s Sky Bar, Marco Polo Ortigas, Pasig City last Thursday.

I’m so glad that it’s confirmed that the newest show is ‘MTV Fuel’hosted by musician Jess Connelly will soon air. MTV Fuel is a music, lifestyle and subculture-driven studio show. Geared towards igniting the passion of Filipino youth for pop culture, each episode will have a theme and the songs, features, and segments of the show will coincide with the main topic of the week. I’m excited to watch its pilot episode airing on September 23. Saturday at 8PM. Jess Connelly is a 25-year old Filipino-Irish singer and songwriter. Her personal style is setting trends. Urban, fresh and self-defining, Jess is an artist inside and out. It was only a matter of time before she decided to make her major move in the music scene. Here’s another good news! I heard that MTVph is set to launch MTV Bad Hunt, the search  for the next MTV Buddies – hitting the campuses in the last quarter of the year.
